Cardinals
Here's a beautiful picture of cardinals that I found on Flickr. Since I also have cardinals year round at my home, I thought this would be nice to share. I can't get a picture of them this close. They're kind of shy!
Lesson 4a: Flickr
I've set up an account on Flickr and spent some time downloading some of my photos. I've also looked at some of their photos. I even found a family member who's on Flickr.
Lesson 3
It's nice to have so much information coming to me. I am currently adding feeds to my Reader so I'll have to play a bit to let you know how it could help me in my personal or work life. I do like Google. And I do like the way the blogs I've chosen to follow come up on my reader so I don't have to track them down. Very convenient.

Setting up this blog was as easy as setting up a new e-mail. I even figured out how to add a picture to my profile. I guess this could be an asset to library users if I wrote about the books I read. If I could talk my family into checking out this blog, I'm sure we could write some interesting notes to each other.
Habit #3 is the easiest habit to use: View problems as challenges. I guess my mind works that way. If there's something I don't know how to do, I find it a challenge to learn how to accomplish the task. I don't always do it the right way or the proven way, but I will find a way!
Habit #4 is my hardest challenge: Have confidence in yourself as a competent , effective learner. I know I learn well but the older I get the less I push myself to learn. And I need to push myself and have confidence that I'll remember the new information that I do learn.
